Since 2014, Hearing Our Way has published nearly 40 issues featuring hundreds of inspiring kids and teens with hearing loss. The BIG Book of Hearing Our Way is designed to be a very special keepsake hardcover 100-page book that readers can treasure as part of their home, school, or office libraries for years to come. Currently, we are in the final stages of content curation, layout, and design. Once this process is completed, the book will be professionally edited and sent to the printer for production. We are working diligently to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality and will be worth the wait. You can expect a top-quality large hardcover book with vibrant colors using premium ink and paper. The books are being designed with gifting in mind and will include a sweet dedication area for anyone who would like to write a special message to their recipient.

The BIG Book of Hearing Our Way is currently in production and available for preorder. It is expected to ship by end of 2024- and ideally in time for the 2024 holiday season- but we are not able to guarantee a delivery date at this time. Customers who place preorders can expect to be updated with more definitive ship dates in early Fall 2024 as well as when their orders officially ship out. The digital download of Hearing MY Way, our interactive fill-in journal and resource guide, is offered with most of our packages. Modeled off of Chapter 5 of The BIG Book of Hearing Our Way, the digital guide includes fun interactive worksheets, writing prompts, hearing loss and self-advocacy resources, and Hearing MY Way: a create-your-own magazine prompt! Kids and teens will love designing their own magazine, sharing their stories, and expressing themselves through art and creative writing. Parents and teachers will love the bonus educational content and resources!

The digital download includes these pages for those who would prefer to print them out rather than write in the books. This will be especially helpful for teachers using their book with multiple students. Additional resources for students, teachers, and parents that go beyond the book will also be included.

The book was designed first and foremost for our wonderful readers, many of whom have been receiving Hearing Our Way since the very beginning. The book is meant to celebrate the last ten years by highlighting some favorite articles and interviews in one place. It is also intended to make things easier for those who love to reference past articles- rather than digging through old copies or searching online, now some of the best content will be in one easy-to-use resource.
